VICK NARESH

Vick Naresh is a contemporary artist living and working in Hamilton, Canada. His practice unfolds through layered abstraction, where biomorphic forms and geometric structures coalesce into imagined environments shaped by vibrant colour and material presence.

Engaging questions of displacement, memory, and identity, Naresh’s work draws from lived experience alongside art historical, spiritual, and scientific frameworks. These paintings attend to the intangible, positioning abstraction as a space where time, perception, and recollection remain in constant flux.

Solo exhibitions include Blooms of the Monsoon, Dianna Witte Gallery, Toronto (2025); You Are Many Faces, Assembly Gallery (2025); and Fragility in Beauty, CAMP Gallery, Miami (2024). Naresh is a 2025 Salt Spring National Art Prize finalist and has participated in ART Toronto with Dianna Witte Gallery (2025, 2024). Group exhibitions include presentations at Monica Reyes Gallery, Vancouver (2024); 19 Karen Gallery, Brisbane (2022); The Hamilton Artists' Inc. (2024); and the Art Gallery of Hamilton (2024). His work has been featured at the Art With Heart Auction in support of Casey House, Toronto (2024, 2025, 2026). In 2026, he collaborated with SmokeStack Studio and the Art Dealers Association of Canada to create a limited edition silkscreen for the Canadian Art Hop.

His paintings are held in private collections in Canada, the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and have been featured in The Saatchi Art Catalogue, House & Garden UK, House & Home Canada, Toronto Star, and The Hamilton Spectator, among others.
