At the Estuary with Vick Naresh is a short documentary filmed in the artist’s studio at the Cotton Factory in Hamilton, Canada. The film follows the development of Blooms of the Monsoon, a solo exhibition presented at Dianna Witte Gallery, Toronto.
Moving between observation and reflection, Naresh considers painting as a spatial and temporal practice—one shaped by memory, migration, and the slow accumulation of place. Attention is given to material decisions and the studio as a site where personal histories intersect with broader cultural and environmental narratives.
The film forms part of an ongoing engagement with process as both method and subject within Naresh’s practice.
